Bertram Allen and David Will storm to electrifying win with identical times in Cannes

It was an electric start to the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cannes with David Will (GER) and Bertram Allen (IRL) winning the 1.45m opening CSI5* class in an incredible dead heat. The pair crossed the line with identical times, sharing the win in the Prix BMW Bayern Avenue, and despite the challenging weather conditions top sport prevailed. (more…)
Greg Broderick wins Galway Grand Prix
Top Irish rider Greg Broderick made waves at the Galway County show, winning the ‘Ashford Farm Grand Prix’ with a very quick time of 40.30 riding the Irish sport horse ‘MHS Automatic’. Event rider Elisibeth Power and ‘Doonaveeragh O One’ finished 2nd. Greg placed 3rd with the ‘Cruising’ sired ‘Golden Exchange’ owned by LIsa Cawley. (more…)
Swail starts Spruce Meadows in fine stylei
Ireland’s Conor Swail kicked off the 2015 Spruce Meadows National tournament in fine style by placing 2nd in teh ‘Back on Track Cup’ 150m wth ‘Grafton’,owned by Susan & Ariel Grange.
In the 150m ‘Bantrel Cup’, Conor also finished 2nd with his consistent partner ‘Simba De La Roque'( Kannan X Allegreto)
Irish Owner and Rider, Joanne Sloan-Allen’s ‘Sumas Zorro’ placed 9th in the prestigious $34,000 Roadtrek Motorhomes Cup 1.55m with Sameh El Dahan. (more…)

Daren Hopkins and Mister Cruise win TRM/Horseware Louth County National Grand Prix

Mo Chroi in foal to Diamant De Semilly via embryo transfer
The former international showumper ‘Mo Chroí’, a past winner of the Dublin grand prix — is expecting two foals by ‘Diamant De Semilly’ this season by embryo transfer.

‘Mo Chroí’ was campaigned by the Irish Army and represented Ireland on several Nations Cup teams. She was also second in two consecutive years in the Hickstead Derby.
Her sire, Cruising, has extensive successful progeny including eventers Mr Cruise Control, Mr Medicott and and showjumpers Flexible, World Cruise and Larkhill Cruiser.
‘Mo Chroí’ won her final competition before her retirement at the RDS in August 2014.
The mare won the speed championships at the Dublin Horse Show, ridden by Captain Michael Kelly.
