Congratulations to business partners Kevin Babington and Oliver McCarthy for their 1st and 2nd places in the Grand Prix at Garden State, New Jersey.
Kevin rode ‘Double O Seven 7’ a 9 year old grey gelding by (Mr Blue X Celano) to the victory while young Oliver McCarty rode the Irish bred ‘ESI VIENNA’ by Toulan out of Coral Reef by Cumano) bred at Ennisnag Stud in County Kilkenny.

Irish riders have been in great form throughout the Winter Equestrian Festival. Cork man Shane Sweetnam finished at the very top of the Suncast 1.50m Championship Jumper Classic Leading Rider Standings on 368 points while Darragh Kenny finished in 7th position on 205 points. (more…)
Ireland to field four Nations Cup teams in Florida
Team Ireland Equestrian will be represented in four Nations Cup competitions at the Winter Equestrian Festival. Team Ireland Equestrian will be represented by teams in the Senior Nations Cup on Friday and in the Young Rider (U21), Junior (U18) and Children On Horses (U14) Nations Cup classes, all of which take place on Saturday.
