Bertram Allen added to Irish success at the five-star German fixture in Aachen, with a fourth place finish in today’s Prize of AachenMünchener 1m55 feature class with the stallion Romanov.
A very competitive jump-off saw Allen and Romanov jump clear in a time of 47.88 seconds to finish fourth.
Rodger Yves Bost took the winners prize with Pegase du Murier after a blistering jump-off round in 44.94, knocking American Beezie Madden into second with Breitling LS, while Spaniard Sergio Alvarez Moya finished third with Arrayan.
